Money&Co. is one of the businesses run by financial “Superwoman” Nicola Horlick. It’s a B2B crowdfunding investment vehicle - helping businesses get access to the investment money they need, while investors get a substantially better likely return than savings accounts and ISAs. On a limited budget we’re helping to grow the business - building fame and optimising marketing performance. Our treasure hunt social competition achieved a reach of over 1.4 million, and so far PPC is proving the top channel for generating investment.
The centre of recent work has been a digital treasure hunt. People were given the chance to win £10,000 by finding hidden gems on the Money&Co. website, after seeking out a ‘magic pixel’ in an image representing crowdfunding investors.
A mesh of communications surrounded the treasure hunt - including social, email, digital display and blogger outreach. All designed to spread the competition and encourage involvement, giving players nudges to move on in the game and to share with their networks.
With no benchmarks from previous activity, we piloted a series of media investments to understand which channels were most effective.
With Money&Co. entering a new phase of growth, they needed a web presence to match their ambition. Our team designed a highly focused lead generation website to attract more lenders and more borrowers, with conversions increasing over 50% since launch.
In an industry brimming with fierce competition, resulting in a high cost-per-click, we developed a well-balanced multi-channel strategy for organic search, paid search and paid social. We continue to work with Money&Co. to lower cost-per-acquisition and increase visibility in the financial services sector.
Over the past year we’ve successfully launched our innovative new crowdfunding platform Money&Co. MBA have worked closely with us to help to define our integrated marketing strategy. MBA are a trusted partner and we are delighted to be working with them on this exciting journey.
